Electrical and Electronic Equipment must not be disposed of with general waste when it reaches the end of its useful life (E-Waste) as it may contain substances that could harm the environment if not handled and treated correctly. Holders of E-Wastes must ensure they are collected for appropriate transport and treatment to minimize damage/pollution to the environment. As part of our Extended Producers’ Responsibility (EPR), we have established a collection mechanism with a specialist recycler to manage any e-waste arising out of our scanners including spare parts and accessories sales in India. This EPR Plan ensures Centillion complies with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 and E-Waste (Management) Amendment Rules, 2017.
